See the bright shiny whistle.
It is not a toy.
It is a useful object.
It is also symbolic.
See a BushCo minion pick up the whistle.
See them hold it in their hands.
See them study it.
See their eyebrows come together.
See them close their eyes and sigh.
Blow, whistle, blow.
Who will it be?
Someone who can’t sleep at night.
Someone whose guts are churning.
Even in BushCo, someone, somewhere has a conscience.
Someone at BushCo cares more about America than their own arse.
Blow, whistle, blow.
Someone at BushCo feels the tug to do the right thing.
Someone has the power to unseat the dark lord and the boy king.
Blow, whistle, blow.

I was just thinking the same thing. There's gotta be someone in the White House who can't stand this lying all the time and is gonna blow the whistle. Maybe someone who used to be part of the mess and isn't any more is the weakest but the strongest link? or something like that.

Nixon had Ellsberg, Deep Throat, and John Dean. What is significant about all three is that their revelations were given to a media that was not afraid to follow up on the leads provided and publicize what they learned. Sadly, that does not describe today's fourth estate.

Little too late on the delete.
Kind of thought that "poets" were people of peace.
